Lamoille Canyon, Elko, NV

The canyon is located in the Ruby Mountains, kind of in the north east part of NV.
We were pretty excited to see some color in the mountains, after crossing the deserts with no color any color is nice to see.
We did notice, as you will, the basic color is yellow, flowers and trees.
The yellow trees out here are called Aspen, me I call them what I knew them from NJ and that is White Birch.
At high altitudes the Aspen is one of the more popular type of trees.

I did find a red flower.

Jo surveying the hill side, looking for Indians or any sign of animal critters but none to be found.
Just a pretty view of the valley and mountain side.
