We stopped here for the night en route to North Dakota. It a very lovely RV Park, sites are spacious, nice trees for shade, swimming pool, etc. The only problem here is this: if you have allergies to cottonwood trees, DO NOT COME HERE IN THE SPRING (spring is late this year here). The trees were is full bloom and the little fuzzie blossoms were blowing everywhere. At some point it looked like it was snowing because of all the blossoms in the air and on the ground. We didn't have any problem but I know some people do. The RV on the right-hand side in the photo is ours.
See what I mean about the little white blossoms. Still a very nice RV park.
While I was walking to the office, I ran across this little critter. He/She was being fed peanuts in the shell from one of the KOA staff. Isn't he/she cute? He/She also had a couple of friends along with him/her.
Of course, I just happen to have some peanuts in the shell in the RV so of course I had to share.
The squirrel would take the peanut right out of your hand. This appeared to be his/her favorite spot to sit and eat the nuts.
Look at the size of that fat little belly.
The squirrel would drop the shell on the ground and a smart bluejay was hanging around scooping up the shell.
Again it doesn't take much to entertain us.
OK, last squirrel picture (for a while anyhow.)
This embroidery was on the wall in the Ladies Shower Room. I thought it quite nice and wanted to share.
