Bellagio Gardens

Entry into the Bellagio lobby (registration to the left, casino to the right, fancy glasswork up above)

I could not believe how beautiful these flowers were and they were all fresh flowers throughout the entire lobby, walkways, etc.

These little bees were busy hanging around in the Botanical Garden

Isn't this precious (mom and her little ones--no, there were not real)

The gardens were filled with people taking pictures (me included)

The lighthouse light on top went around guiding any ships who may be lost

Somehow this picture got totally out of order. It's one of the walkways from the Tram heading down to the lobby and casino area

More of the garden

Dancing lighted little fountains amongst the flowers

This was at the end of the botanical garden leading down towards the lobby area

Also inside the garden. Hope you enjoyed these as much as we did.

Lake Mead Cruise & Pawn Shop

No trip to Vegas is complete without a cruise on Lake Mead. We HAD TO DO THIS!

As you can see the lake is down.
The cruise took us up to Hoover Dam with the new bridge hovering up in the air.

The weather was really nice, a wee bit hot and windy but a great day for a boat ride and not crowded.

Part of the workings of the dam

Jeannette, sister-in-law in the foreground, then Paulde my older brother in the middle, and hubby in the brown shirt. Don't know the last guy in line with the white hair. The chairs were laying down because it was quite windy and they kept falling over (even though they were weighted).

This is the boat we cruised on. Lower deck was enclosed and air conditioning as well as the middle deck. We opted for open air of the upper deck, much nicer even though it was hot.

After cruising on the Lake, we had to go check out the new bridge even though Bill and I had been there before. It was hot walking up but the view was worth the trip.

More Hotels/Casinos & Fremont Street

This is Diablo's Cantina. Always a party going on.

Stratosphere

The Venetian

The Excalibur with New York-New York in the background

Fremont Street (what a place)

The Pioneer Club (after seeing some interesting characters walking around here I'm not sure I would like to be down here in the wee hours/early morning or late night)

The Mermaids Casino

LA Bayou (I won about $70 in this place on a Zeus II slot machine)
Also tried an Elvis machine but unfortunately Elvis "had left the building" and took my money with him along with everybody elses too.

The Golden Goose

I am told that the oxygen bar can be used to clear up your head/sinuses and supposed to help get rid of any hangover one may have. I/We didn't check it out but did see a couple of them around town in the bars. These two guys looked like they really needed the oxygen, they were in bad shape.

Zip line goes from one end of Fremont Street to the other end. Interesting to watch but not brave enough to try it.

These guys were on their way (Whoooooohoooooooo!)

The other end of the zip line where you land.

Opps, I goofed and entered two from the LA BAYOU.

You can get your palm read and/or your fortune told here.

Las Vegas 2

This is inside Gilley's Restaurant/Steakhouse (great music and the food/drinks weren't bad either)

The dance floor with folks learning to line dance

If you look real hard between the 2 TVs on the left you will see the head with horns of the bucking  bull. There is a circular arena with a bucking/spinning bull that folks can ride the bull. No one was brave enough to try it out while we were there (of course the night was young, we were here early, around 6:00 pm)

We strolled down the Strip and came across these lovely showgirls who were more than happy to pose for a Kodak moment (we later found out that they expected a gratuity for posing for the photo)
Bill and my older brother Paulde

This tricked-out motorcycle was on display inside the Treasure Island casino (I didn't see any information on it but thought our motorcycle friends might enjoy seeing it)
Look at the people walking down the street. I believe this is Caesar's Palace in the background

Some dancing fountains in front of the hotel/casino

Not sure which hotels these are, sorry

The Excalibur  Hotel Casino
New York-New York Hotel Casino
A roller coaster ride wraps around the hotel. As you can see it is really a wild ride (the tracks are up in the air behind the Statute of Liberty)
MGM Grand
The Fashion Show

Looking down upon the two swimming pools, jacuzzi and sandy beach volleyball area at the Monte Carlo Hotel Casino
The RIO Hotel Casino

Paris Las Vegas in the background; in front is the waters of the Bellagio where the dancing fountains will perform
The other side where some of the fountains will be dancing (also Bally's and Planet Hollywood in the background)
