Kolob Canyon-Zion Nat'l Park

This sign shows the names of some of the peaks within the canyon. Kolob is situated at the north western part of Zion National Park and is easily accessible from Interstate 15. There is only one highway into an out of the canyon (except if you want to hike in/out).

We stopped along the road to look at this hillside. It's covered with dried-up mud clinging to the rocks.

The beauty of our national parks is unbelievable. One can just imagine what it was like when this planet was forming.

It looks like someone lined up these rocks WRONG! Mother Nature at Work.

This sign helps explain some of the names of the formations in the rock walls. A hanging valley (within the circle).

More explanations, this time collapsing scenery.

Mother Natures landscaping.

It wouldn't all fit in one photo.

We saw numerous cars parked belonging to hikers. We saw one jogger running down in this valley. Couldn't get a photo of him.
