Bismarck/Mandan, North Dakota

This is one of a couple of statutes in Steamboat Park (I think or maybe Keelboat Park) along River Road. Several of the pull offs were blocked off because of the high water.

This is the information about the statute called "Reflections".

Located at the entrance to the Park.

This is a replica of the steamboat "Rosebud". Unfortunately we couldn't get on it to check it out. Most of the exhibits along the river are closed because of the extremely high Missouri River.

Here you can see the houses/camps in the background along the river and how high the water is.

Another  piece of art. I have no idea what it is (anyone want to make a guess?)

Another object of art (again it is blocked off and there is no place to pull off to walk over). We had to shoot some of these pictures on the fly as we were going down River Road (of course there is always a local behind you wanting to go faster).

This is Lewis and Clark.

This is a lovely park, however, you can see how much water has moved in to flood it. No playing, etc.

A panoramic photo of the mighty Missouri River.

Looking across the Missouri. The hillside we were on was in Bismarck, the other side is Mandan.
