More playtime with Brutus and his log in the pond.

He was having a grand old time playing with the log.

Sheena has finally decided to come and check out the dandelions on top of the boulder.
Something must have caught his eye. He is such a beautiful bear to watch. I wish Casey Anderson (who raised Brutus from a baby cub) was at the compound that day to see them interact together but unfortunately he was out of town.
Brutus finally decided to look straight at us as if to say OK take that picture lady.
Back to his log.
After he got out of the pond, something caught his attention on the other side of the compound fence. We don't know for sure but it appeared to be something he could smell. He kept sniffing the air and then finally sat on top of this boulder to try to look over the fencing but it was too far away.
