Fergus Falls, MN Walk of Flags

This is a great way for a town to honor all of it's Veterans, each Flag is numbered and has the vets name, service and rank on it. There are over 1700 flags on display, which the town churches put out ten times a year, most of the holidays.
I thought the canon added a nice touch, what do you think?
The flags were on all of the streets around the City Hall and the Court House.
Although Linda knew her dad had placed a Flag in her honor, this was the first time she actually saw her Flag. It is next to her Dad's and also her husbands. Her brother also has a flag on this row.
Here you see how they label each Flag, it is placed in a cement block in the ground, which has its number. We saw the two trailers that they house the Flags in.
At the beginning of the walk are all of the services Flags.

At each beginning of a street there is a list of who's Flags are there.
