Duluth's Canal Park

The Aerial Lift Bridge, Duluth's most famous landmark, was built in 1905. During the summer the bridge rises and lowers every 30 minutes, on our boat ride we went under the bridge.
One of the ship elated markers along the sidewalk, right behind Jo is Lake Superior.
You cannot have this much water and people and not have sea gulls.
Going under the Bridge this way you enter into Superior Bay, ships as long as 1,000 feet go into the bay to load and unload. Some of the products shipped here include grains, iron ore and coal just to name a few.
There was a nice pier to walk out to the light house, we thought about renting a side by side bike (to use to go out there (Larry, Moe and Curly) along with travelling over the walkway which goes along the shore through the parks).
