The visitor centers had some very interesting exhibits. I found the beaver information quite informative (being a city girl most of my life).
This is an "active beaver lodge" according to the rangers. The beaver has been spotted working on this lodge which was just down the bank from the visitor's center at the boat pier.
Inside the center is this replica of the inside of a beaver lodge.
The sign explains the type of beaver lodge that they build.

Here you could touch an actual beaver tail to see how it feels.
