Flaming Gorge-Green River Basin Scenic Byway

Once we got on Hwy 191 we saw this eye catcher, we knew right away we were in for a beautiful drive. We always try to take any offered scenic drive, one of our favortie things to do.
Our first pull off was to turn right to Firehole Canyon, as you can see it was worth the drive to the canyon.
Down by the water there is a campground, we used to camp at places like this, when we had our Jeep.
This view in the canyon is beautiful, don't you think
As you can see we were still in Antelope country, there are more Antelopes in Wy then people.
Another beautiful view in the canyon, one can take hundreds of pictures on drives like this.
Now you can see why we love taking scenic drives the views are often breathtaking.
Notice how different each side of the hill is, some of mother natures handy work.
Our second turn was into Antelope Flat, true to its name we saw this small herd, there were more on Jo's side of the road.
What a great view as we headed into the Flat, another nice place to camp.
I put a quarter in this fellows nest so he would pose for me, not sure who he is, but he is a cutie.
Here is a site you don't get to see every day a full family of Osprey, mom, dad and two chicks, how neat is that.
Dad decided to flex his wings a little.
