As we travel across the states we come across some different ideas each city/town has to draw attention to themselves, I (we) fine these ideas very interesting, hopefully by posting photos of them we don't bore you. Sioux Falls had this walk, will post most of the sculptures. To start with this is not one of them, but needed to be included. Monarch of the Plains was sculpted from a 12-ton piece of mahogany granite mined in the Milbank, SD, area, Monarch is a work of art created by Darold Baily.
American Farmer Statue was created by Sondra Jonson, and won Best of Show in Sculpture Walk 2004.
For Which It Stands Statue was created by Janes Haire and was voted People's Choice in Sculpture Walk 2006.
