Antelope Island Cowboys Poetry & Music Festival

We heard about this festival at the Island gate so we had to go check it out. Very nice.

Historial ranch on the island where the festival was held.

The big barn housed the main stage

Wagon rides, pony rides, and houseback riding were all available.

One of the entertainment areas where the little ones (and big folks too) could try to lasso the cows.

Main Stage in the barn, this cowboy was telling a story (really interesting and entertaining).

He was singing his songs (old western style)

Isn't this little one cute?

Singing songs in tribute to Johnny Cash (Folsom Prison and the Orange Blossom Special) There also was a stage called the Front Porch however this wasn't it. I'm calling this one the backyard, the group was very good.

The Big Barn where the main stage was in the far left-hand corner.

Another storyteller. One story was about a horse who died standing up.

Music and stories galore. A really nice event if you should ever see one advertsied.
