Jo's Rd to Seminoe Reservoir

As we began our journey north, this is the site I saw (nervous ninny that I am I said (to myself) Oh my, what am I in for now).

We stopped at the first roadside info sign and got this information.

It appears others weren't happy with what they read (bullet holes on the sign).

This I believe is the North Platte River Arm

We encountered 3 pronghorn antelopes coming up the hill from the water. This guy was the lookout bringing up the read (once he saw they they made it up the hill and we didn't bother them, he came up). These animals are really graceful and so plentiful.

We ran into this cowboy herding up these bulls and moving them along the fence line.

This lone bull was sitting along the fence (maybe it was his job today to count the cars on the highway).

I had no idea to expect a sand dune in the middle of the Wyoming high plain go figure).

First glimpse of Seminoe Reservoir (the water level appears to lower--they too are having a drought out here).

We drove down towards the camping areas and ran into this antelope who appears to be more than willing to cooperate for a Kodak moment.

The dirt road into this area of the reservoir was quite steep, there was a warning sign advising no trailers or motorhomes traverse the hill and recommended another route.
Quite picturesque don't you think?

As we returned from reservoir we ran into another cowboy moving cattle down into the valley.

We decided to go down the road and see what at the bottom of the hill. Here the cows we meandering across the road.

This is the name of the ranch down at the end of the road.
