View of the Frontier Town which buildings were built to show what they might have looked like. The building were closed at the time.

St. Mary's of the Plains Church, it was moved from Rock River, Wyoming (with original furnishings) and allows visitors to consider the importance of social gatherings in a rural social center in the 1920s society.

A view (thru the window) of the community hall in one of the Frontier Town buildings.

A shop of some sort.

This is the Judging Pavilion which was built in 1920 by the U. of Wyoming. It was original a machine shed and shop. In 1935 it was modified and transformed into a sheep judging pavilion. On exhibit inside is various vintage agriculture equipment and horse-drawn buggies once used on farms and ranches in the state.

This is the safe that Butch Cassidy (and his coherts in crime) blew up when they robbed the train.

Needless to say they had that part of the movie running on a screen behind the exhibit.

The building also had various information about agriculture and farming issues.

I had to do this. I put my hand inside this glove. It was really squishy and as you moved your hand it made sloshing sounds like water or some sort liquid moving around. It was to emulate what the inside of a cow's stomach contained.

This is what is supposed to be inside the cow's stomach.

Sign says it is a horse hide fur coat.
